I also tried to get a good bottle-in-hand shot but they were just an embarrassment haha. Looks like I really need to work on my swatching skills!

Day 4 - Green
Well! I'm sorry I'm flooding your timeline? with new posts, but I've been so anxious to get these bad boys up and I finally have some free time. I ordered some polishes off Llarowe quite a while ago and literally just got around to wearing one of them! So this one is piCture pOlish Mallard which one of my favorite bloggers Jen from The Polishaholic helped create. And it is so perfect, I love it. Also, if there is one thing I learned from this post, it is that I am not very skilled at swatches, and this color is almost impossible to actually capture. So you can check out Jen's post here to see it when mine do it no justice. But it is a really great deep green with some shimmer and loads of flakies! I'm wearing two coats in this photo and I wore it for a few days and could not stop staring at it. I can't wait to wear it again.
Day 2 on actual day 6 maybe? Oops
Hey guys! Well, I did these nails for day 2- Orange but I decided I hated them and planned to redo this day, but with school being so busy I never got around to it so I guess I'll just post the original ones! I did these the day before my college, Syracuse University lost their final game this season so I guess they were bad luck (probably not, buuut I can pretend it's my fault).
I started with two coats of Essie Go Overboard and Julep Kaylen. Then I used Go Overboard to freehand on the letters onto Kaylen and vice versa. I literally did at least 5 coats of the letters and the Otto with Kaylen and it was still pretty sheer and it was so raised. I guess I'm gonna cut my losses on this one and only use it as a base coat from here on out because it is a really great bright orange. Anyway, enough of my rambling, onto the nails!

And since I wasn't a super fan of these and did plan to redo them, unfortunately this is the only decent picture I got of them. :(

Day 3 - Yellow
I have something exciting to share today! I've had these on for a few days now and just took them off for day 5 - Green! Which is something that's pretty exciting to me because it's hands down my new favorite polish!
For these I started with a base of Orly Boho Bonnet which is the most perfect pale blue. And the light yellow petals are painted with Sally Hansen Mellow Yellow. I really love using Sally Hansen polishes in nail art because the pigmentation is so good and I usually don't have to go over the designs with a second coat. The brown insides were painted with OPI Suzi Loves Cowboys, and the stems/leaves are China Glaze Running in Circles.
I couldn't get good photos of these really because the weather has been so awful here, but I tried to do the best I could. I'm looking forward to eventually working my way through this whole challenge and I've got some great ideas store for the "inspired by" days! But, without further ado, onto the nail art!

31 Day Challenge- Day 1- Red
Well, I tried three different manis for today since i really didn't want to just do plain red, so I finally settled on red watercolor a la Chalkboard Nails. This is my second time ever trying this technique so it's far from perfect. But, here it is!

For these, I've used OPI's My Boyfriend Scales Walls for the base color, and The Spy Who Loved Me for the red. For the black dots I just used black acrylic paint. Although these aren't my finest work, they came out alright. Onto orange! And I've got something awesome in mind for those, so stay tuned!

31 Day Challenge!
So I've seen a lot of my favorite bloggers do this challenge in the past. So now it's my turn to give it a try. However, right now is a really busy time with school so chances are I wont be able to keep up daily, but I'll do my best! Here goes nothing!
Oh, Hey!
Hey guys! I'm new to this whole blog thing, but I'm trying it out! Since this is my first post and its the day after easter I'm gonna keep it simple and show off my easter mani and outfit. I'll probably find some sort of challenge and work my way through that at some point as well! Stay tuned and I'll have some interesting nail art for you!
